The PAC37 is PS Engineering's latest audio controller, designed specifically for seamless integration with the Baker 1045 audio panel in legacy jet aircraft. This plug-and-play device offers a straightforward upgrade for pilots and copilots, maintaining compatibility with existing systems without the need for extensive modifications. By replacing the Baker 1045 with the PAC37, operators of older jets can benefit from modern audio technology while keeping installation time and complexity to a minimum.

An optional feature of the PAC37 is IntelliAudio® dimensional sound technology, designed to improve communication management for both the pilot and copilot. When enabled and properly wired, IntelliAudio® uses HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) to spatially position COM1 at the 10 o’clock position and COM2 at 2 o’clock, with all other COM sources centered at 12 o’clock. This allows users to perceive multiple communication sources as coming from different directions within the headset, making it easier to distinguish between channels and reducing cognitive workload.

IntelliAudio is part of a suite of optional features available on the PAC37, all of which require additional wiring during installation:
